Graham's parents split when he was a tiny child, and his mother raised him. He frequently spent the summers with his father, a musician with ties to the music industry.  Sandra ''Sandi'' Graham (née Sher), Drake's mother is a Canadian Ashkenazi Jew with experience as a florist and English teacher.
