Katie Cassidy born on November 25, 1986, and later called Katie Cassidy Rodgers after her marriage, is an American on-screen character. Following a few minor TV jobs, she stood ready as a Scream Queen after featuring in horror movies like; When a stranger calls in 2006, as Kelli Presley in Black Christmas, and as Ruby in the third season of The Supernatural. 

Cassidy had her leap forward in 2012, in the wake of being given a role as Laurel Lance/Black Canary, on The CW TV series Arrow.  Cassidy has repeated her job in the Arrowverse series The Flash and Legends of Tomorrow and also voicing the character in the animated web arrangement Vixen. In 2017, Cassidy rather started playing Black Siren, an at first opposing form from a parallel universe, beginning on The  Flash and proceeding to Arrow.
